Frontend UI Platform Engineer

Open Digital Services (Santander Group)

Successfully contributed to the development and maintenance of a React/Typescript UI component library that integrates with our company Design System and allows white label solutions for different brands.
During my time the use of this library throughout the company group expanded to more than 70% of frontend teams (several hundred developers) with the goal of reaching every team.
Collaborated closely with designers and developers to create and maintain reusable components, optimizing the development experience and ensuring good performance and accessibility.
Contributed to Kubit's open source ecosystem (develop one of the product's landing pages), working on tools and plugins that facilitate UI design and development.

Work and coordinate with app frontend development team with agile methodologies, ensuring that the different parties are aligned to successfully complete the development of new features.
Report hundreds of bugs, leading to noticeable improvements on app's performance and UX.
Working together with another QA to refactor and relaunch a test automation project for the company apps that had been abandoned for more than 2 years, leading to an improvement of 50% in cost of person days for regression tests.
